In Aberfeldy, a 10 to 15 minute walk from the cottage, there are a selection of bars, restaurants and cafes serving food and drinks throughout the day and into the evening. Amongst our favourites are the Blackwatch Inn and Croft Restaurant which serves gourmet steaks and burgers and much more. The Three Lemons is a lovely bistro bar and restaurant and is well worth a visit for lunch or early evening meal. For a relaxing pub meal visit The Fountain in the square.
Further afield and within a short drive The Logierait Inn serves great traditional scottish food and is renowned for its delicious fish and chips. Book ahead to guarantee a table. Enjoy fine dining at The Errichel which specialises in local seasonal produce all served in their spectacular roundhouse restaurant with panoramic views over the Tay Valley.
The nearby Fortingall Hotel is steeped in history and specialises in local produce with a changing daily menu. It also has a cosy bar with log fire and occasional live music. It is also worth a visit to see the ancient yew tree dating back some 5,000 years.
